Family Medicine Physician With ObstetricsJericho Road Community Health Center is actively seeking a Family Medicine with Obstetrics (FMOB) Physician. The option for a flexible 40-hour workweek is possible within certain teams.Responsibilities:Provide full-spectrum family medicine care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and women's healthDeliver obstetric care including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum careOffer comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care.Provide inpatient obstetric and newborn care as part of a call pool with other physicians.For surgical obstetric fellowship trained family physicians: perform scheduled Cesarean deliveries and bilateral tubal ligationsProvide patient care in a holistic manner including attention to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.Maintain electronic medical records efficiently and maximize resources.Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and program teams at Jericho Road Community Health Center.Participate in quality improvement/population health activities with a data-driven approach. Participate in regular peer reviews and risk management activities as assigned.Arrange to ensure that mandatory and required training is completedServe as a clinical preceptor or mentor to students and residents, as applicableQualifications:Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy, licensed to practice in New York State prior to start date of employmentCompletion of three-year or four-year Family Medicine ResidencyBoard-certifiedPassion for high quality, community rooted primary care among a culturally and linguistically diverse urban populationDemonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationshipsComfortable working in a fast-paced, team environmentWillingness to be flexibleProficient in utilizing electronic health recordsReliable transportation within the city of BuffaloRate: $190,000-$220,000 salaried.
