Dental Hygienist - Same Day Pay

Role Overview

Seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a busy restorative and surgical practice. The position involves working closely with doctors and staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and periodontal maintenance therapy.

Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and apply preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants.

Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide where permitted.

Capture and manage digital radiographs, intraoral photos, and scans, maintaining accurate documentation.

Educate patients on oral hygiene, support treatment plans, and foster trust to promote patient retention.

Ensure sterilization, compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and maintain practice supplies.

Qualifications & Skills

Active Florida RDH license, accredited educational background, and current radiography certification.

BLS/CPR certification, knowledge of periodontal therapy, digital imaging, and practice management software.

Excellent communication, detailed documentation, and patient care skills.

Preferred: anesthesia/nitrous oxide certification, experience with periodontal and implant maintenance, bilingual abilities.

Physical & Work Environment

Ability to perform detailed chairside work, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a clinical setting with PPE.
