Bankruptcy Legal Assistant LHH is assisting a respected law firm in Tampa, FL in its search for an experienced Bankruptcy Legal Assistant to support a busy creditor's rights and bankruptcy practice. This is a fully onsite position offering the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative legal team handling high-volume, complex matters.
Responsibilities Prepare, revise, and proofread bankruptcy pleadings and correspondence, including proofs of claim and motions
Perform electronic filings through CM/ECF and applicable state court systems
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm procedures
Assist with hearing preparation, exhibits, and case materials
Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals as needed
Qualifications 3+ years of legal assistant experience, ideally within bankruptcy or creditor's rights
Experience with CM/ECF and electronic court filings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
