Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Med/Surg night shift position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and a NM or compact RN license.
Details

• Acute Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement of 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
• On-call is not required but may be requested if census increases
• Float requirement to all Med/Surg departments within the assigned director's scope
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• EMR: Epic
• Grey scrubs required
• 13-week contract

Requirements
Active NM RN license or current compact state RN license
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Strong knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the patient population served
Additional Information
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement timely, documented nursing interventions
Coordinate team assignments, delegate appropriately, and participate in patient education and discharge planning
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Travelers who have previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility in a non-travel (permanent) capacity must have a separation of at least 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment — this applies across the entire CHRISTUS Health System
