Cytotechnologist Full-Time

Regions Hospital is currently seeking a self-motivated, quality-focused Cytologist to join our laboratory team.
As the Cytologist you will:
Perform cytological analysis of benign and malignant conditions.
Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or allied health sciences including Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, etc. and successful completion of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) or ASCP approved School of Cytotechnology.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: ASCP board certification or eligible. Two (2) years of Cytotechnology work experience within the last five- (5) years may substitute for the educational qualifications. Three years of experience as a cytotechnologist in a CLIA accredited laboratory.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: ASCP certification and completion of a CLIA approved proficiency test taken within the year of hire.
