Therapists at Prosperous Health The Valley provide direct clinical services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, this role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients’ recovery and mental health goals. Therapists play a crucial role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that enables clients to heal and thrive.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations and risk assessments.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.
Participate in case reviews, clinical supervision, and team meetings to ensure consistency and quality of care.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Stay current on advancements in therapeutic techniques and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Educate clients and their families on coping strategies, recovery resources and mental health conditions to empower them in their journey.
Licensed-Level: Current licensure as an AMFT, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California.
Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in outpatient or residential settings.
Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in therapy, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or Motivational Interviewing.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
