HR Generalist, Seasonal

Our HR Generalist will be the partner to our team members in our Distribution Center. This candidate will support full cycle HR internal support, drive excellence and process improvements, mitigate business risk, and advise on employee relations and compliance. Handle employee relations and the development of team members, and collaborate with manager when needed.

Interview new candidates, collaborate with hiring manager on identifying the ideal candidate, and communicating outcome of interviews to candidates.

including participating in new hire orientation, administering drug testing, running background checks, and other duties as requested.

Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, processes and technology.

Conduct internal investigations and collaborate with HR Manager on certain situations.

Provides backup to other Human Resources staff as needed.

Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.

Travel monthly to our second location in Millis, MA.

Adjust hours to connect with 3 rd shift monthly.

2 – 4 years HR related experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field

Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft platforms and UKG HRIS

Knowledge of labor laws, federal/state laws, and HR practices

Strong internal and external customer service focus
