Are you interested in starting a career in insurance while building practical business and professional skills? We’re looking for a motivated, curious, and dependable individual to join our team as an Insurance Solutions Associate in a part-time role designed to fit alongside college, technical education, or other career-development commitments. Through licensing preparation, job shadowing, hands-on assignments, and mentoring, you’ll learn how insurance professionals build relationships, support clients, identify appropriate business opportunities, and help protect what matters most. This position offers meaningful industry experience and a foundation for future growth based on performance, business needs, and available opportunities.

Prepare for and work toward a Property & Casualty insurance license, with the potential to pursue a Life & Health license.

Participate in structured training and development activities that introduce FNIC’s sales, service, operations, client experience, and risk-management practices.

Shadow professionals across the agency to understand sales, service, operations, client experience, and risk-management workflows.

Practice professional telephone, email, meeting, and business-writing etiquette.

Learn how Production Agents develop professional relationships, networks, and centers of influence.

Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and scheduling or booking tools to communicate, collaborate, and manage work.

Strengthen time-management, prioritization, organization, and efficiency skills.

Assist with workflow support, projects, and other duties that contribute to team and agency goals.

Dress for your day – bring your whole self to work so you can be as comfortable at work as you are in your personal life.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability and willingness to study for and obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for assigned business, client, community, or networking activities, when required.

Comfort using technology and the ability to learn Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and scheduling or booking tools.
