Were pushing the frontiers of medicine and leading a revolution in healthcaredriven by innovation, compassion, and purpose./ph3Position Summary/h3pThe Director of Corporate Communications and Brand will be responsible for helping to build and execute strategic corporate reputation, thought leadership, storytelling and company positioning ensuring short-term and long-term visibility. The position reports to the Vice President Corporate Communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare communications and precision medicine. This collaborative leader will possess a strong track record of success in developing corporate communications to ensure quality, efficiency and consistency in messaging, media strategy and reputation management./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliDevelop and manage external press release communications to advance perception, increase media pickup, drive website traffic, enhance visibility and improve reach./liliResponsible for day-to-day corporate communication writing and editing of communications./liliProactive identification of opportunities to position, support and promote Caris related to internal and external content, message development and media outreach./liliDirect and implement communications and brand strategy that is aligned with key marketing initiatives and strategic business priorities./liliArticulate the Companys thought leadership platform, defining the issues and topics that create opportunities for engagement and story creation./liliIdentify brand and communications needs, make recommendations and align on communications approach./liliProvide counsel on and align external communication strategies, competitive landscape, approaches and messaging./liliDevelopment of a comprehensive presenter portfolio, managing interviews, backgrounders, speaking requests and briefing documents./liliDevelop messaging and talking points for spokespeople when needed, including internal communications, media interviews and speaking opportunities./liliCollaborate with the corporate communications and marketing team members to execute strategic communication plans and external positioning./liliProvide communications expertise and support to marketing, conferences and events teams./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulli10 years of experience in corporate communications./lili5+ years of experience in healthcare communications, life sciences or pharma./liliBachelors degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field./liliExceptional writing, editing and reviewing skills./liliExpertise in cross-functional collaboration and partnership./liliExcellent presentation (written and verbal) communication skills./liliExemplary planning and organizational skills./liliMust be able to work across levels in the organization to drive projects to completion./liliThis is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite at our corporate headquarters./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliMasters degree in communications, marketing, or business administration./liliProficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite./liliDrive for Results (Service, Quality and Continuous Improvement) Ensure procedures and processes are in place that lead to the delivery of quality results and continually reassess their effectiveness to achieve continuous improvement./liliCommunication Excellent verbal and written communication skills. liliTeamwork Commitment to the achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other team members./liliCustomer Service Focus Demonstrate a focus on listening to and understanding customer needs (internal and external) and then satisfying the customer by exceeding service and quality expectations./li/ulh3Training/h3ulliAll job-specific, safety, and compliance training is assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee./li/ulh3Other/h3ulliThis position is located in Irving, Texas, and is a hybrid/in-office role (vs remote)./liliThis position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends, and/or holidays./All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, status as a protected veteran, among other things, or status as a qualified individual with disability./
