HR Generalist - Employee Relations & Recruiting

Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR operations

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and relations matters, including documentation and corrective action

Manage end-to-end hiring for hourly and salaried roles: post openings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and assist with offers

Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires

Maintain employee records, files, and HR systems (HRIS)

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims

Draft and administer HR policies and the employee handbook

field employee questions on pay, benefits, and time-off

Support performance reviews, goal-setting, and manager coaching/feedback

Develop and implement engagement, morale, retention, and training initiatives

Partner closely with ownership/leadership on people matters and identify opportunities to improve and scale HR processes

Assist with coordination of facilities and event management

Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience

Minimum 3–5 years of generalist HR experience, preferably in a small or growing company

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Experience or strong background across the full employee lifecycle: employee relations, recruiting/onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and compliance

Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate without a large HR team

high level of discretion with confidential matters

HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar)

Comfort building HR practices from the ground up
