We are looking for an R&D Engineer to join our team onsite in Salt Lake City, UT!
This position is responsible for the engineering work on existing orthopedic devices (protheses, orthotics) throughout their life cycle. This includes coordinating any changes with other global partners who are also affected by said engineering work.
Analyze cost, business, and complaint data including root cause analyses
Design engineering solutions including creation and updating of CAD models, simulations and drawings
Collaborate with Operations and other organizational units on the implementation of product improvements
Champion and document change orders for the changes
Bachelor degree in technical field
~3+ years of work experience ideally in an R&D or manufacturing environment

Knowledge and application of engineering principles with focus on mechanical engineering incl. Highly skilled in CAD modelling and drawing creation, Creo a plus
Knowledge of fiber composite material from design to process
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
