About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44140!
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility standards
Participate in rotating day and night shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM / 7:00 PM-7:30 AM) as needed to meet operational needs
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
Work at least every other holiday as part of the standard contract expectation
Required Qualifications

Active Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License - must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
Minimum 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
Active BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross - must be in hand at time of submission
Active ACLS certification - must be in hand at time of submission
Active NIHSS certification - must be in hand at time of submission
One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills

Permanent specialty experience obtained within a single facility or location
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability to float assignments
