Software Engineering Manage

Job Summary (List Format):

• Develop and modify embedded device firmware (C/C++) for AR/VR visual perceptual quality features.
• Design, implement, and maintain test infrastructure for perceptual quality metrics (e.g., latency, motion-to-photon).
• Write, maintain, and automate unit, integration, and manual tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Debug issues across the full software stack, from hardware and drivers to application-level rendering.
• Develop optimized, portable firmware and software utilities for embedded environments and various processors.
• Integrate platform-level features and collaborate with internal teams to tailor firmware, drivers, and applications.
• Create clean, well-documented, and testable code; support documentation for design, tradeoffs, and test methodologies.
• Ensure firmware and graphics/display pipelines meet rigorous perceptual quality standards.
• Utilize scripting (Python or similar) for utilities and test automation.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and manage priorities independently.

• 5+ years experience in embedded firmware/systems software development and testing.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++; experience with production firmware and test apps.
• Proficient in full software development lifecycle and building reusable test frameworks.
• Skilled in debugging complex software/hardware stacks.
• Experience with RTOS, multi-threaded/real-time applications, and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Scripting experience (Python or similar).

• AR/VR, computer vision, graphics, and display systems experience.
• Knowledge of perceptual quality metrics and measurement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Android platform (NDK, JNI, HAL) and low-level integration.
• Experience with image/video quality assessment tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
