Position Summary
Performs a variety of clerical, bookkeeping and administrative support functions in a school setting and other related work as required by the principal.
Essential Functions
Performs duties and executes special assignments and tasks under only general supervision. Serves as receptionist for school visitors and students, delivers messages, refers visitors and students to proper personnel. Prepares memos, lists, reports, correspondence and other materials from directives or responds directly to general inquiries as requested. Assists with programs regarding operation of office equipment. Keeps accurate records, collects data and prepares reports as required. Is tactful and courteous with all school personnel, students and visitors and maintains up-to-date office areas. Maintains the confidentiality of reports, records and personal experiences of a private nature regarding students, school employees and patrons. Performs other duties as assigned by the principal or his/her designee.

Education and Experience
The candidate must have completed high school and/or equivalent. It is strongly preferred that the candidate possess an associate's or bachelor's degree.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior experience working with children, preferred. Prior experience with Google and Microsoft Office, preferred. Prior office experience, preferred.
