Front Desk Receptionist: Monday - Friday

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Start time 8am). some holidays

Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults. The Outpatient Receptionist is responsible for clerical functions and acts as a receptionist for the program under the supervision of the program director.

Acts as receptionist for program, answers telephone, takes messages and delivers them.

Manages registration and insurance intake for new patients. Enters relevant information in computer system.

Assists with keeping reception and patient areas tidy and presentable.

Performs insurance verification online and by phone. Ability to document eligibility, co-pays, deductibles and pre‑existing terms and communicate such information with patients.

Inventories and orders supplies for the unit.

Attends unit staff meetings and takes detailed notes.
