The VDI/Images Systems Administrator is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

Provides all the necessary support for Citrix Infrastructure.

Checking and controlling the server and offering solutions to its problems.

Supporting and preserving the Virtual Desktop setup of the institution, whichincludes,the AppSense andXenDesktop, XenApp, and others.

Help in organization and management ofthe businessapplications.

Determiningthe increased cases received by the IT Helpdesk.

Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop system.

Design and implement platform security.

Taking part in upgrading and updating the system’s applications, installing it with up-to-date descriptions.

Strengthen the apps, the Windows server, and the principal operating system.

Providing technicalassistancefor all the servers, desktops, and services thatapplybusiness.

Taking full control and accountability for applying, implementing,maintaining, and examining the documentation of the VirtualDesktop Infrastructure.

Executing helpdesk calls and classifying cases according to their priorities and accelerations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ActiveTS/SCI + CI Poly clearance

BS, 5-7 years of relevant experience; MS, 3-5 years; PhD, 0-2

One of the FollowingDoD 8570/CS-NET-451certificationsisrequired: CASP+/SecurityX

CISSP

GCED

CISA

Proficiencyin ITIL and other IT operations frameworks

STIG implementation experience

RMF knowledge

ACAS / Nessus familiarity

Overview We are seeking to fill multiple VDI/Images Systems Administrator positions onour Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).The VDI/Images Systems Administrator primary duty involves monitoring,maintaining,operating,and troubleshooting daily remote access technologies.Responsible for taking care of all the administration tools in the Citrix environment.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
