Pharmacist - Pharmacy - Evening

A leading 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support patient care with a contract position based in York, PA. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team in a fast-paced inpatient setting, supporting medication management and safety.

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension
• ASAP start date

Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals on medication therapies
Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize patient treatments
Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and patient safety protocols
Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly preferred
