REMOTE POSITION / CLAIMS PROCESSOR

Serving as a subject matter expert, the full-time remote Claims Analyst will manage a portfolio of complex cargo claims, driving comprehensive claim management from initiation to resolution while leveraging advanced industry knowledge to optimize operations and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

Independently manage complex cargo claims, negotiating settlements and analyzing claims trends to present actionable findings to leadership

Lead high-level external communications and relationships, addressing inquiries and driving resolutions with minimal management assistance

Comprehensively manage financial aspects of claims portfolios, ensuring accuracy in receivables and payables while utilizing financial insights for strategic decision-making

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3 years of relevant professional experience

5+ years of experience managing claims, preferably in cargo claims within a 3PL environment

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in Google Suite with the ability to conduct basic risk analysis and data reporting

Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
