Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) NephrologyProvides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and clinical team members in delivering safe, timely, and patient-centered nephrology care.This position is designated as an on-site, patient-facing role. In-office presence is an essential function due to the need for real-time collaboration with providers, direct interaction with patients and caregivers, and secure handling of health data in compliance with HIPAA.Minimum QualificationsDegree or Certification for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and 2 years clinical experience, or a combination of education and experience.Active LPN license in the state of North Carolina/South CarolinaNephrology experience preferredCurrent BLS or ACLS certificationValid driver's license and reliable transportationKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR platformsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksEffective written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethicsInterpersonal skills to collaborate with care teams and provide compassionate serviceAbility to demonstrate and uphold ENA's core values: Compassion, Excellence, Inclusion, Collaboration, and InnovationSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneEssential FunctionsThis position is designated as an on-site, patient-facing role. Work Schedule is Monday- Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with a one-hour lunch.
