Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiation therapy treatments.Prepares the treatment room and equipment, transfers patients to treatment area, and positions patients for treatment.and maintains treatment records in the patient's electronic medical chart.Performs tumor localization using image guidance modalities.Maintains supplies and custom treat devices in the treatment room.Performs daily quality and safety checks of the Linear Accelerator and other treatment equipment.Teaches clinical intern students.Ability to perform verification checks and apply quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of dose calculations.Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of life-span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures manual.Ability to follow department policies, procedures and checklists to ensure safe, accurate treatments.QualificationsQualificationsLicenses RequiredCurrent RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
