KBR is seeking a Technical Editor.

This position also includes document administrative responsibilities. Technical Editor:

• Edit documents to ensure compliance with style, design, layout, specification, and grammar and spelling requirements
• Edit, format, and maintain documents including, but not limited to program plans, software release notes, system test reports, procedures, design documentation, requirements, user manuals, training materials
• Conduct quality review of materials and provide peer review of program documents

Document Administrator:

• Organize and maintain a comprehensive filing system for all documents to be readily available for fast retrieval
• Add training records and certifications to user records in the Contractor Position Roster List (CPRL)
• Location: On-Site – Landover, Maryland

Travel Requirements: An active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance.

A Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related discipline is required, 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Knowledge of MS Office Suite with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
