SSC Advisors is seeking a Kansas-based Human Resources Manager to join our team immediately. This position is essential for managing activities such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management and talent management.
The job of HR Manager is important to business success. People are our most important asset and the HR Manager, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, ensures we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our mission: This position does require travel to various firm locations.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding process.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures across the organization to comply with regulations.
Manage the SSC Competency model and its evolution to drive high performance.
Oversee HRIS and Recruiting profiles and systems.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven 3-5 years of experience in human resources or related roles.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Deep curiosity about technology and how systems, especially Microsoft systems, can support efficiency.
Ability to train and mentor others on supervision.
