Job Full Description
Job Title: Quality Manager
Reports to: President
Full-time position (M-Th 6AM-3:30PM, EO F 6AM-2:30PM, EO F off).
Summary
Plans, coordinates, and directs the quality program designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the manufacture of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Management Representative & ITAR Compliance Officer
Ensures the quality management system is implemented and maintained effectively.
Monitors suppliers' quality and delivery performance and maintains the Approved Supplier Listing.
Monitors customer quality and delivery performance.
Approves and disapproves suppliers.
Manages the control of nonconforming product program.
Ensures environmental compliance.
Authorized to release finished product for shipment.
Authorized to change sequence of operations.
Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
Reviews data obtained during quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.
Oversees the Calibration system and approves certificates of calibration.
Maintains the Stamp Log.
Responsible for appropriate marking of purchased products.
Responsible for storage, protection and maintenance of customer supplied measuring & test equipment.
Responsible for inspection and quarantine storage.
Completes First Article Inspections.
Other duties may be assigned.
