Physiatrist-(Weekends)

As a 1099 physiatrist, you will be responsible for the diagnosing and providing direct specialist services to patients for pain management and physical rehabilitation from work related injuries. You will work in a team environment with physical therapists, chiro, acupuncture among other clinical staff under the referral of the occupational medicine physician. The specialty division of Agile Occupational Medicine is a rapidly growing business emphasizing quality care with the highest standards. The Agile approach is focused on speed of recovery while we keep the patient engaged in the process, with aggressive scheduling and follow-up, getting injured workers back to work and life as soon as possible. Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and neurological disorders from work-related injuries; assess patients' medical history, physical exams, and x-rays

Develop individualized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, medications, injections, and non-surgical interventions to improve function and mobility

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and medical doctors, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Educate patients on their conditions and its prevention and the rehabilitation process

Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.O. and an unrestricted California medical license.

Current Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage.

Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Background in occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or outpatient setting is preferred.
