Remote Mental Health LCSW

MyPsyche Psychological Services is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position. This position is fully remote, offering you flexibility and the convenience of working from home. You will be part of a dedicated team that values collaboration and communication while embracing the autonomy that remote work provides. Our detox center environment includes a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals, all focused on delivering coordinated, comprehensive care to our clients.

Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ mental health histories, strengths, and challenges.

Utilize therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care techniques to facilitate healing.

Provide various therapeutic sessions including individual, family, and group therapy, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated care and support for clients.

Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessments, developing safety plans as necessary to ensure client well-being.

Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, fostering a supportive community environment.

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients seeking support in managing mental health conditions commonly associated with substance use and recovery. You will encounter a diverse clientele experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and the complex interplay of mental health and substance abuse issues. Your ability to provide tailored, empathetic care will be crucial to their progress.

A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on substance use disorders.

Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques will also be considered an asset. Previous involvement in group facilitation and community outreach programs adds depth to your application.
