Manufacturing Engineering

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• 2+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• 2+ years of experience supporting the development of the engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components.
• 2+ years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.

Create and refine the aircraft zonal build plans - mitigating risks and developing sequenced-based execution plans.

Committed Change / Design Change Build Implementation Leadership - Assessing Build Plan impacts, mitigating risks, and influencing producibility enablers

Innovation and data analytics - driving continuous improvements

Condition of the Airplane - Integrator surrounding the health of the production system; Familiarity with Loadable Software and corresponding configuration management tasks

Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. May be requested to support other platforms as needed.

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Electrical background is a plus; wire installation
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with CATIA.
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT; This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
