Summary
Entravision is seeking a dynamic, digitally savvy Anchor to join our national Spanish-language streaming news team. The ideal candidate is a strong journalist, storyteller, and communicator with a deep understanding of the Hispanic community in the United States, Latin America, and major international news developments.
Essential Functions
Anchor live and recorded news programs across streaming and digital platforms.
Write, edit, and deliver compelling news content in Spanish.
Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and community leaders.
Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, and digital teams on daily coverage.
Participate in breaking news coverage, special reports, and live events.
Contribute story ideas relevant to Hispanic audiences in the U.S. and abroad.
Engage audiences across digital and social media platforms.
Required Education and Experience
Native-level Spanish and English writing and speaking skills
Minimum 5 years of on-air experience at a national Spanish-language television or streaming news network.
Strong knowledge of U.S. Hispanic communities, Latin America, and international affairs.
Excellent writing, interviewing, and live presentation skills.
Digital-first mindset with experience creating content for streaming and social platforms.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and breaking news situations.
Strong editorial judgment and ability to perform under deadline pressure.
Experience in live breaking news environments.
Familiarity with newsroom systems, digital publishing tools, and social media platforms.
