Forklift DriverThe Forklift Driver is responsible for carrying out operations for the marina. The Forklift Driver's primary responsibility is the customer and their vessels. Every task at the marina from carefully handing the customers boats, to communicating effectively with the employee working the docks. The Forklift Driver projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned placesInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceComply with company policies and legal guidelinesMaintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisorPrior forklift experience - Marina experience preferable.Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.This document provides descriptive information about the above Suntex Marinas position.
