Material Handler - Full Time

Job Description

Job Description Duties:

• Operate a propane forklift or lift truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials
• Use a pallet jack to load and unload goods from trucks or containers
• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations while operating equipment
• Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and ensure accurate inventory
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience operating a propane forklift or similar equipment is required
• Familiarity with order picking processes is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment
