Head of Project Management (Remote)

Project Manager- Insurance Background Brentwood TN Pay Rate: $47/hr on w2 all inclusive End client: Client

Remote until restrictions lifted then must be on site in TN Possible temp to direct hire position. No timeline set for "conversion". Due to COVID, this assignment will begin as "remote"; however, once the team returns onsite to work, the contractor's worksite will be 340 Seven Springs Way, Brentwood TN, 37027. Resumes will be reviewed by Job Posting Owner and Dept head, and possibly by a specific Project Manager. Interview process: initial "phone" interviews conducted by Hiring Manager and if candidate progresses in interviews then candidate will also interview with at least one, if not two, other managers.

Role The Project Manager will support ongoing CBSC strategy and participate in planning for future initiatives to drive new opportunities aligning with CBSCs vision. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of assigned projects, driving the process for status reporting, tracking progress, dependency management, issue escalation/resolution for initiatives, and adhering to project budgets.

Job Description Lead project initiatives within Closed Block Service Center through all phases of project management including scoping and initiation, planning, execution, performance monitoring and project closure

Preparation of project plans, tracking progress and status reporting

Support expense management analysis and reporting activities including monthly accrual entries, budget updates, and other ad hoc reports/activities

Create regular executive reporting materials to track project variances and explanations for scope, timeline, or budget changes

Ensure coordination points with Department Heads and SMEs are established and are working smoothly

Coordinate development of governance documentation including business requirements and functional specifications

Work effectively as a team member and contributor

Required Skills 7+ years experience working as a Project Manager

Minimum 10 years experience in complex, multi-segment, corporate environments

Knowledge of Agile approaches - Kanban, Scrum, etc.

Knowledge of JIRA and Clarizen is a plus

PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred

Knowledge of expense management concepts including financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Insurance or Financial Services experience preferred

Advanced project management and meeting facilitation skills

Strong prioritization skills and reporting capabilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization

Ability to build and translate a project plan into Agile processes

Able to streamline complex requirements to simplify business processes

Experience running multiple projects in parallel and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated, detailed oriented and responsible team player
