Job Description

Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy programs to help them achieve their personal functional objectives
Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ proven therapeutic techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide integrated, all-encompassing care
Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their loved ones on therapy practices to facilitate continued growth and progress at home
Track and Document Progress: Document clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain aligned with their goals
Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
Pursuit of continuing education or postgraduate certifications highly encouraged and supported
Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
Skills
A true passion for supporting others and a genuine desire to help individuals reach their highest level of independence
Empathetic communication style with both patients and team members
Ability to think outside the box and adjust treatment plans to accommodate diverse needs
