Substitute Secretary Pool
The Solon City Schools are seeking qualified candidates to form a pool of substitute secretaries for school-based locations only (excludes Board Office, Transportation/Maintenance). The need is for both daily, as-needed substitutes and long-term assignments to cover medical leaves and other lengthy absences.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excel in all secretarial and office skills and procedures necessary for the proper execution, operation and efficiency of the office.
Ability to communicate and deal with people in a congenial and positive manner.
Exhibit acceptable standards of emotional stability, moral character, sound health and be physically able to perform necessary job responsibilities.
Verbal and written command of the English language and grammar.
Working knowledge of word processing, data processing and other related business technology and machines.
Knowledge of computers and the use of PowerSchool is preferred.
Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
Pleasant and dignified office manner, neat in appearance and ability to adjust to change.
Experience in an office setting is highly preferred.
Must be willing to work at any school-based locations.
Hourly rate is set at the currently approved compensation level.
