HR Generalist - Employee Relations and Safety

We, at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products, are searching for a Human Resources Generalist for our Fort Worth, Texas location, employing approximately 90 employees. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. So, what will you be doing as an HR Generalist?
Coordinate recruiting, advertising, and hiring processes for incoming talent
Support training initiatives and performance management processes
Support FMLA and Disability processes and assist with Workers’ Compensation coordination alongside the Safety Manager
Provide guidance and support to management and employees regarding employee relations matters
Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and communications
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws and reporting requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience preferred or 5+ year experience in HRM in place of degree
Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Bachelor's degree in HR or related area
