Paralegal - Legal Billing

Law firm seeks legal assistant or paralegal to provide high-level litigation support for one of its partners. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of MS Word and Outlook (Excel and LEAP a plus), strong typing skills (at least 50 wpm), the ability to multitask, effective communication skills (both verbal and written), and a professional attitude. Candidate must possess excellent time management and organizational skills and produce a high-quality, timely work product. Compensation commensurate with job classification and experience. Responsibilities: Typing correspondence, pleadings, indexes, etc.; Organizing files; Scheduling appointments, depositions, hearings, trials, etc.; Telephone and email communication with clients, clerks of court, opposing counsel, etc.; Billing; and Filing. Qualifications: Typing speed of at least 50 wpm Knowledge of MS Word; Strong communication skills; Multitasking skills; and Legal experience preferred, but not necessary. Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience
