Phlebotomist - Testing/Vaccinations

Job TitlePay Range: $22.97hr - $28.39hrRequirement/Must HaveAbility to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.High school diploma or equivalent required.Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification required in California.Minimum of 6 months experience required.Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.Keyboard and data entry experience is required.Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.Possession of a valid CPT License.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the organization to patients as the primary point of contact for specimen collection.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients.Perform blood specimen collection in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.Maintain required records and documentation.Promote a positive image to patients, employees, and the public.Nice to HaveOne+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.SkillsPhlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Customer Service.Qualification And EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.CPT License.
