Registered Nurse ICU Dayshift

Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 3x12.0 hours.

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, focusing on patient and employee safety throughout all operations.

Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.

Deliver direct patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

Communicate changes in patient status effectively among care providers.

Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel.

Contribute to a positive unit environment and engage in team building activities.

BLS Certification required prior to first shift.

ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
