Licensed dental hygienist
Open Dental
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Oryx is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Experience with medical imaging technology is a plus.
- Previous experience in pediatrics is advantageous but not required.
Clinical Excellence: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing using strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic evaluations.
Utilize modern medical imaging equipment to capture high-quality X-rays and diagnostic images for treatment planning.
Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventative care to improve community health outcomes.
Maintain precise patient records and treatment plans utilizing Oryx dental software.
Pediatric Care: Assist in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a gentle and positive experience for younger patients.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless, "whole-health" approach to patient care.
