Maintenance Technician IThe Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level technician responsible for supporting basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facility systems. This role focuses on learning core skills, completing preventive maintenance, and assisting higher-level technicians. Success requires reliability, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment.Schedule: RFC D410B (Wednesday-Saturday 6:00am-4:30pm)Role ResponsibilitiesPerform basic mechanical and electrical repairs under supervisionAssist with maintenance of conveyors, packaging equipment, and facility systemsSupport troubleshooting of jams, sensor issues, and simple equipment faultsExecute preventive maintenance tasks and inspectionsReplace basic components (sensors, belts, bearings, pneumatic parts)Follow SOPs and safety procedures during all maintenance activitiesRead basic schematics and documentationDocument work orders and maintenance activities in CMMSMaintain cleanliness and organization of work areasSupport senior technicians on complex repairs and projectsRequired SkillsGeneral technical knowledgeBasic mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshootingWillingness to learn equipment, automation, maintenance systems, and troubleshooting processesAttention to detail and safety awarenessStrong work ethic and reliabilityRole QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required0–2 years of maintenance or related technical experienceExposure to electrical or industrial systems preferredFamiliarity with hand tools and safety proceduresComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standardsMaintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as requiredPhysical DemandsStand and walk throughout a shiftClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periodsReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 poundsOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movementsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.#INHIGHThe PerksURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
