Join our Medical Surgical team at Moab Regional Hospital! Rural nursing at its finest! You are excited to perform a wide range of general nursing duties, providing direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical department, from post-partum neonates to geriatrics. Specific areas of responsibility will include medical, surgical, high acuity, rehabilitative, skilled, and pediatric. Due to the rural location of MRH, this is a great opportunity for a nurse looking to expand their skill sets, given the variety of patient needs, ages, and acuities. There are also opportunities to expand into post-partum care and infusion and wound therapies as well as cross-train in the Emergency Department and/or PACU.
This is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position. Anticipated schedule: 6x12-hour shifts or 7 days on/7 days off per bi-weekly pay period, shift changes 0600 and 1800. A $$0,000 sign-on bonus is available for permanent, full-time hire, with a 2-year service agreement.
Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 1-2 years medical/surgical experience, preferred.
- Must be willing to earn NRP certification and provide patient care appropriate to certification within one year of hire.
- Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments.
- Great customer service and communication skills, including oral, written, and listening skills.
