Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent
Tutor Perini Corporation is looking for a Field Engineer to Provide technical engineering information to construction management and crafts to ensure heavy civil construction work complies with the engineered design, technical requirements, engineering standards, and codes. Read and interpret Contract, Drawings, Specifications, Standards, and related technical documents in order to maintain the construction schedule in coordination with project-wide activities.
Research and resolve drawing interpretations problems, conflicts, interferences, and the like.
Support planning and technical issues. Prepares construction work plan packages and coordinates pre-construction meetings while ensuring that all prerequisites to start construction activities are identified and completed.
Manage the effective utilization of technical expertise within the Project Management team.
Coordinate Field Engineering activities with Construction Management team.
Monitors and participates daily in field construction process. Provides accurate and factual assessments of project performance.
Coordinates with subcontractors on advance material acquisitions and pre-construction deliverables.
Field verify to ensure construction is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and contract.
Ensure as-builts updated as required by contract.
Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with high standards of workplace safety and construction best practices.
Identifies and resolves changing site conditions or other impacts during planning of the work.
Reviews project plans and develops a construction schedule in coordination with project-wide activities.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• 5 - 7 years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Working knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, standards and procedures.
• Experience with Utility / Underground / Concrete Structures Construction preferred
• Commitment to safety and quality. Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA Requirements.
