Inventory and Delivery Person

Medical Courier
The Medical Courier is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of laboratory specimens, supplies, equipment, prescriptions, and other materials between clinic locations, laboratories, hospitals, and business offices. This position plays a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, securely, and in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.
Pick up and deliver medical specimens, laboratory samples, medical records, prescriptions, office supplies, and equipment between designated locations.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
Obtain signatures and maintain documentation for deliveries and pickups as required.
Transport items safely to prevent loss, damage, or contamination.
Communicate effectively with clinic staff, laboratory personnel, and management regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Assist with inventory transfers and supply distribution between office locations.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous courier, delivery, healthcare, or transportation experience preferred.
Experience working in a medical environment is a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to safely lift and transport packages and supplies.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
Requirements/travel:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance (if using a personal vehicle).
Ability to travel between multiple office locations as needed.
Frequent travel between clinic locations, laboratories, hospitals, and business offices.
Exposure to medical environments and biohazard materials while following proper safety protocols.
