Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Everett, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Provide high-risk perinatal nursing care in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit, including labor, antepartum, and postpartum settings

Perform and document sterile vaginal exams (SVE) — required competency

Float to Postpartum as needed, maintaining staffing ratios of 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum, and 1:2–3 in antepartum

Participate in triage care alongside a team of skilled RNs in a 7-bay triage area

Collaborate with surgical techs, CNAs, CRNAs, health unit coordinators, and delivering providers in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment

Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Active RN license; Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience

BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring

Availability to work weekends and commit to 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Experience in a facility performing 200 or more deliveries per month preferred; candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will be considered

Familiarity with high-risk perinatal care environments, including antepartum and OR/PACU settings

Prior experience working in a Level II or Level III perinatal care setting

Work within a well-resourced, comprehensive women's and children's pavilion featuring a Level II NICU, 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, and 24/7 provider and CRNA coverage

Facility-paid parking and a supportive multidisciplinary team including CNAs, surgical techs, and health unit coordinators on every shift
