Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a CVICU night shift position requiring 3 years of ICU/CVICU experience and ACLS/NIH certifications.
Details

• positioned within a 27-bed Cardiac Care unit specializing in Cardiac/CVICU care
• Patient population includes cardiac and post-op cardiac cases as well as medical ICU overflow
• Acuity-adaptable staffing model with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity
• 3x12-hour night shifts from 18:00 to 06:30
• Every other weekend required, working Friday and Saturday night shifts
• May be placed on call or low census once every 4 weeks
• Floating to ICU or other inpatient units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Utilizes specialized equipment including EKOS, balloon pump, Impella, IV pumps, transvenous pacers, cardiac monitors, CRRT, and ventilators

Requirements
Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
Current ACLS and NIH certifications required
Minimum 3 years of ICU/CVICU experience required
At least 1 year of ventilator/cardiac drip experience required
Must pass facility Cardiac Rhythm Knowledge Exam with a score of 90% or higher
Cardiac ICU and/or step-down/progressive care experience preferred
Prior critical care experience preferred
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care for cardiac and post-op cardiac patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
Sweatshirts, T-shirts, and visible facial piercings are not permitted; piercings must be removed or covered with flesh-colored retainers
Candidates should be hard-working, punctual, reliable, and outgoing
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
