Providence, RI, Pawtucket, RI, Central Falls, RI (please note: you may be placed at any of our sites that have openings or be expected to float to other sites) Reports To: Family Development Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time - Monday through Friday- 8 Hour Shifts

Children's Friend is looking for a Bilingual Family Advocate to join our Early Head Start/Head Start team. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
As a Family Advocate, you'll be a trusted partner for families—helping them access resources, build on their strengths, and create nurturing environments where children can grow and succeed. Leading home-based parent-child activities that encourage positive bonding
Connecting families to community resources and services
Partnering with parents to create Family Partnership Agreements that focus on their strengths and goals
Helping ensure our services meet Head Start/Early Head Start performance standards
Serving as a champion for families, advocating for their needs across home, school, and community
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, or a related field (Associate's degree + relevant experience considered)
Experience working with at-risk families (preferred)
Strong relationship-building skills and a deep sense of empathy
Bilingual fluency strongly preferred
