Temp/Travel- Registered Nurse (RN) L&D (NIGHT)

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) is available for a travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Weekly pay: $2,639–$2,729. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12), totaling about 36 hours per week. This assignment is in a hospital setting and is suitable for an experienced L&D nurse seeking a temporary travel opportunity.

• Contract duration: Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3 per week)
• Travel nursing in a hospital environment
• Plan and provide nursing care to patients and families across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergencies and circulating for C-sections.
• Monitor maternal and neonatal status, administer medications, interpret clinical data, and respond to deterioration with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the wider care team; Maintain patient safety, infection control, and high standards of pain management and patient education.
• Document care accurately in medical records and ensure regulatory and facility compliance.
• Ability to deliver comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
• Comfort working night shifts and maintaining 12-hour shift patterns (36 hours per week).
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment with a 13-week duration starting 09/21/2026.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the care team and families in a high-acuity setting.
