Head of Finance - Insurance

We’re hiring a Manager, Ceded Reinsurance Finance to lead key accounting and operational processes supporting our ceded reinsurance portfolio.In this role, you’ll oversee month-end close, manage reinsurance accounting activities, support system transformations, and partner closely with Finance, IT, and offshore teams to ensure accurate and efficient processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead ceded reinsurance accounting, invoicing, and recoveriesManage month-end close across multiple business unitsSupport system implementations, testing, and process improvementsInterpret reinsurance treaties and ensure complianceOversee reconciliations and data integrity across systemsPartner cross-functionally and support regulatory reporting

5+ years in ceded reinsurance operationsStrong knowledge of reinsurance accounting and treaty structuresExperience with reinsurance systems (PeopleSoft a plus)Advanced Excel; exposure to Power BI, RPA, or other automation tools is a plusStrong communication and collaboration skills#Greenwich #Conneticut
