divh2Job Title/h2pInterstate Waste Services is seeking a dedicated individual for a critical role in their operations./ph2Essential Job Functions/h2pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned./pulliOperate Top Pick (also known as Container Lifter or Reacher-Stacker) with various other small machinery/liliManeuver large containers around transfer station and load to rail cars/liliFollow all required safety policies and procedures/liliEffective communication with drivers, employees, and management via hand held radios and CBs/liliRoutinely set up and inspect equipment prior to operation/liliHave knowledge of machine capabilities and limitations/liliObserve hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines to perform work duties in compliance of safety specifications/liliReceive written and oral instruction regarding material movement/liliMove materials around transfer station/liliMaintain an efficient flow to reduce traffic congestion/liliFollow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE/li/ulh2Requirements and Qualifications/h2p Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States./pp Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds/pp Minimum 2 years experience as operating a Top Pick/Container Lifter/Reacher-Stacker./pp Experience from the sanitation industry is strongly preferred./pp Able to work in an outdoor environment on a constant basis while being exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises./ph2Additional Information/h2pThis job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
