As a Histologist, you will be responsible for preparing and processing tissue specimens to support accurate diagnostic review. You will oversee all phases of tissue processing, maintain laboratory standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting high-quality patient care.
Perform embedding, sectioning, staining, and special histology techniques
Maintain laboratory files, records, and documentation required by regulatory agencies
Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments
Monitor and restock laboratory supplies to ensure continuous workflow
Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in all histology processes
High School Diploma or GED

Completion of a Histotechnology program or related technical training
Associate's degree in a related field
Laboratory-related experience

Required: ASCP Certified Histotechnician (HT)
