As a Security Officer Access Control in Meridian, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Part Time

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and documenting site access activity.

Respond to incidents, alarm conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

Support receiving and shipping operations by observing ingress and egress activity, reporting unusual behavior and/or unauthorized access attempts, and helping to deter policy violations.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
