Project Manager II CDx Pharma Services
This onsite Project Manager II role in CDx Pharma Services focuses on optimizing product delivery and overseeing projects that range from simple to highly complex. You will lead initiatives from initial concept through completion by developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. The position requires a highly autonomous self-starter who exercises independent judgment, proactively resolves challenges, and excels with minimal supervision. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating project needs into tangible outcomes, driving continuous improvement, and helping the organization respond quickly and effectively to changing business needs.
Manage multiple small and large improvement projects, including process improvement and other business-related initiatives, from initiation through successful completion.
Develop and direct detailed project work plans, schedules, timelines, estimates, resource plans, and status reports to ensure optimized product delivery.
Track progress of project activities and manage execution of cross-functional plans to keep initiatives on schedule and within scope.
Facilitate cross-functional interactions to ensure projects are completed within defined deadlines and in compliance with the service plan.
Maintain data integrity of resource trackers and capacity charts, ensuring alignment with project management best practices.
Manage the CAPEX budget associated with projects, including updating and maintaining dashboards and communicating clear project reports to stakeholders.
Proactively identify project risks, potential bottlenecks, and delays, and perform critical path analysis to mitigate issues before they impact delivery.
Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of project requirements and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of projects to capture insights and drive future process and performance improvements.
Engage, influence, and manage a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, deliverables, and priorities.
Coordinate stakeholders across diagnostic medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments to support product development and process improvement initiatives.
Communicate project status, risks, and decisions effectively to stakeholders using reports, presentations, and dashboards.
Support projects and business initiatives that require rapid activity achievement, ensuring timely execution without compromising quality.
Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a degree in life sciences.

• 25 years of experience in project management within the diagnostic medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
• Proven experience leading product development or process improvement projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proven capability in managing diverse cross-functional stakeholders and fostering alignment across teams.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Proficiency working in a Google Suite environment.
• Experience managing timelines and coordinating stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Ability to perform critical path analysis and identify project risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies.
• Strong analytical skills for maintaining data integrity in resource trackers, capacity charts, and project dashboards.
• Ability to operate as a highly autonomous self-starter, exercising independent judgment and working with minimal supervision.

Master's degree, preferably in a relevant scientific, technical, or business discipline.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project management credential.
Experience with Scrum and Agile project management methodologies.
Experience leading projects or business initiatives that require rapid activity achievement and fast-paced execution.
Background in clinical sciences or related fields supporting companion diagnostics or pharma services is advantageous.
Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices in project and process management.
Ability to conduct lessons learned sessions and translate findings into actionable improvements for future projects.
This is an onsite role in a dynamic, fast-paced CDx Pharma Services environment where you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in diagnostic medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings. You will work extensively with digital tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and Google Suite to manage timelines, resources, dashboards, and reports. The work involves balancing multiple concurrent projects, frequent stakeholder interactions, and rapid activity achievement to meet evolving business needs. This is a Contract position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
